For me, a successful chic sports outfit must be easy to wear. You should be able to move in it, sit down, work, and go out for dinner without having to spend time rearranging your jacket.

Before we talk about fabric, let’s talk about you. Are you looking for an outfit for the office, where the suit is no longer mandatory? A jacket to wear with your jeans? A comfortable pants that still looks elegant? The answer won’t be the same.

That’s what makes this work interesting too: two clients can choose a blue jacket and walk away with completely different projects. The length, volume, shoulders, collar or pockets are enough to change its character.

Jean or custom chino: the trousers deserve as much attention as the jacket

Custom-made clothing is automatically associated with suits. Yet, a jean that you wear several times a week also deserves attention to its fit.

For a custom jean or a custom chino in Cannes, we work on the proportions around yours. Morphology Waist height, leg length, leg line and length. The goal is to find a balance between what you like in the mirror and what you feel when wearing the garment.

We also make corduroy trousers and trousers with a single or double button placket. Again, you need to consider the whole outfit. We also choose the materials and finishes. Do you like a particular shape but imagine it in a different color or with other details? That’s exactly what we’ll discuss during the meeting.

On the Côte d’Azur — the French Riviera — a chic sports outfit must be able to transition from a sunny day to a cooler evening. For lightweight pieces, we work primarily with linen and blends of wool, silk and linen, depending on the desired look and use. The composition matters, as does the weaving, weight and construction of the garment.

And chic sport on the Côte d’Azur doesn’t stop in the summer. Flannels, tweeds, cashmere or wool-cashmere blends allow you to play with textures as temperatures drop. A corduroy trousers, a textured jacket or a warmer jacket open up other possibilities.

Depending on the models and your needs, we can also offer water-repellent technical fabrics and different linings: lightweight, quilted or warm sherpa-style. A jacket designed for cool days obviously doesn’t require the same choices as a garment for summer evenings.

You can spend a lot of time choosing a pair of trousers, a jacket, the right colors… and end up with a pair of sneakers that you picked up by chance. That’s a shame, because shoes contribute to the balance of the entire outfit.
