Bespoke jeans in Cannes

Ten years ago, everyone wanted them slim. Today cuts are getting wider, the waist is rising and pleats are back, as on suit trousers. Jeans are being reinvented once again, and made-to-measure lets you follow without compromise: slim if that is your build, wide if that is your style, straight, tapered or pleated. Fitted on you in the boutique, they hang right from day one, and the next pair takes ten minutes to order.

At Moret & Co, jeans are chosen like a suit: in our private boutique in Cannes, fabric in hand.

From white to black: ecru, sand, greige, khaki, truffle, grey, classic blue jean, dark blue, raw indigo, black; lighter fabrics for the Cannes summer, denser ones for winter. Among them, denim from Candiani, weavers in Milan since 1938, branded inside the waistband. You touch, you compare, you decide.

Bespoke jeans are not altered jeans: every detail is decided with you, in the boutique.

• The cut : slim, straight, tapered or wide; with or without pleats.
• The waistband : classic jeans waistband or tailored waistband, as on suit trousers; standard, with tab and buckle, or with side adjusters; with or without belt loops.
• Front pockets : classic five-pocket or chino pockets. Pocket height is adjustable.
• Back pockets : straight or slanted, with or without decorative stitching, single or double jetted, visible or hidden button.
• The fly : straight or curved, button or zip fly.
• Rivets and buttons : with or without rivets; dozens of buttons to choose from.
• The patch : none, small or standard; natural leather, gold, different colours and textures.
• Topstitching : matching or contrasting thread, single or double.
• Your initials, embroidered in block or script lettering, and any embroidery on request.

1. The discovery appointment. 1h30, no commitment, in our private boutique. We talk about how you will wear them, handle the fabrics, choose the cut and the details.

2. The fitting jeans. No pattern here: you try on our fitting jeans in the boutique and we pin them on you (waist, hips, thigh, length) to tell the workshop exactly what to change. The price is set together before ordering.

3. Delivery. Your jeans arrive at the boutique, you try them on, and your measurements are kept for the next pair.

Bespoke jeans go with a sport-chic jacket, a shirt or sneakers composed in the boutique.
