Bespoke is everywhere… but are we really talking about the same thing? Bespoke has become more accessible, and that’s excellent news. But behind this single term lie very different approaches. At Moret & Co, custom tailoring is about more than just choosing a fabric and taking a few measurements. It all begins with a private consultation lasting about 1 hour and 30 minutes. We take the time to understand your vision, your body type, your lifestyle, and the image you wish to project. We guide you in choosing the fabric based on its composition, weave, weight, drape, and comfort. We work with fabric suppliers such as Loro Piana, Vitale Barberis Canonico, Scabal, Ariston, Reda, and Ermenegildo Zegna—as well as with exquisite merino wools and blends of wool, linen, and silk—to offer quality options suited to every budget. We also advise you on color selection, as not all colors flatter every skin tone. Measurements are taken directly on your body, without a jacket or fitting template. We analyze your posture, shoulders, and silhouette to create an outfit truly tailored to you.Together, we define every detail: Neapolitan or structured shoulders, with or without epaulets, unstructured jacket, half-lined or fully lined, half-fused or fully fused, lapels, collar, natural horn buttons, pant cut…Our shirts are fully customizable: fabrics, collars, cuffs, removable stays, buttons, and finishes. We also craft custom-made shoes, using trial slippers to precisely determine the size, half-size, and foot width before production begins. All alterations are performed in our workshop in Cannes to ensure optimal fit and comfort. Since 2013, we’ve made a commitment: to take the time to listen, advise, and fine-tune every detail.True bespoke tailoring isn’t just about making a garment to your measurements. It’s about creating an outfit designed with one person in mind: you.📍 Moret & Co – Cannes
Thank you to our future client for booking an appointment this morning 🤍 We are receiving more and more requests for “full white” suits for weddings, and this trend inspired us to make this post.Because one white is never just white.Between:- Optical whites- Ivory whites- Natural whites- Warm or cool whites...a poor match can quickly break the harmony of an entire outfit. The most common case:an ivory jacket with a shirt that is much too white. Result: the contrast becomes aggressive and the suit appears yellowish.White also needs to work with skin tone and light. This is why, at Moret and Co, we almost always avoid completely white outfits without contrast. We prefer to add contrast with:- Accessories- Textures- Shoes- Or certain more subtle shades.⚠️ The examples shown here are, of course, for informational purposes. Rules can also be skillfully broken, which is something we even love to do in the boutique. The purpose of a discovery appointment is precisely to guide the future groom and build a coherent, elegant, and above all, personalized outfit! So? Customers often ask us the difference between a suit and a tuxedo 🤵‍♂️ A tuxedo has its own codes.Originally, at the end of the 19th century, the tuxedo was born as a smoking jacket.Worn in private salons after dinner, it allowed you to change without damaging your main outfit with cigar smoke and odors.Over time, this piece has established itself as the reference evening wear.Today, it is increasingly inviting itself into the wedding world! The basics :- jacket with shawl collar or satin point collar- straight jacket with a single button, or double-breasted version👉 the button can be covered in satin (like the facings)or covered in the jacket fabric for a more sober look- pants with satin braid- shirt with bib + stud buttons👉 removable buttons that replace classic buttons for a dressier look- bow tie👉 slightly imperfect, that's precisely what makes it so elegant- tuxedo belt (cummerbund) or vest, never both👉 the folds of the belt are worn upwards(the story goes that they were used to slip opera tickets into...)James Bond is probably its most iconic image.Today, we respect the codes...but we can also make them evolve.👉 We're working more and more on mismatched tuxedos: strong jackets, velvets, textures, paired with more sober pants. When it's mastered,👉 it creates a much more pronounced silhouette, and a very contemporary elegance. At Moret & Co,we guide you on the rules...the better to adapt them to you 😎👉 All the looks in this post are achievable in boutique and much more...Still don't have a made-to-measure tuxedo? Today, we've been present in Cannes for 13 years😳 🎉 But the story began in 2009.23 years old, between Orléans and Paris, I was traveling with a suitcase to company works councils. Everything was done by word of mouth, customer after customer. That's probably what taught me the most, because this business isn't just about selling an outfit; it's also about the human element 🤝the exchange. Understanding the person in front of you and creating a piece that means something to them. For over 16 years, we've evolved with our customers. We've seen styles change, cuts evolve, and different generations arrive with a real sartorial culture.Today, our strength lies in our versatility: adapting cuts, fabrications and fabrics to a variety of profiles. From business to weddings, from daring pieces to timeless essentials 👔Always with the same high standards. Our customers know how far we can go in the level of finish. We don't make an argument out of it.We prefer to let the work speak.Small novelty for 2026 👌Our tailors have developed and sourced new fabrics.Materials different from the traditional 100 % wool, selected for their lightness, comfort and fit. This new range enables us to broaden our offer and provide a more accessible made-to-measure experience, while maintaining impeccable workmanship 💪This offer is reserved for our customers' entourage:witnesses, dads of brides and grooms, young adults for a first interview, or anyone who wants to experience made-to-measure with seriousness and elegance. The aim is simple: to enable everyone to benefit from the same support and the same high standards.I show you these new fabrics on video 🎥Thank you to all our customers 🙏To those who have followed us since the beginning. To those who have trusted us for years. To those who come from far, sometimes very far 🌍And to all the new customers who arrive each season in ever greater numbers.13 years in Cannes 🎂More than 16 years of history.and still the same desire 🔥Merci à tous à très vite!
