    Hello everyone!A little technique on this post 😉 so that you understand the importance of measurements and especially that of patternmaking 🧵🪡Before creating an outfit, there's a fundamental step: patternmaking.This is the "blueprint" for your suit, the basis that determines its balance, cut and fit.At Moret & Co, our patternmaking isn't limited to a simple adaptation of measurements. We go much further:✔️ we analyze posture,✔️ build,✔️ the specificities of each morphology...(your front, profile and back photos are used for this 👍)So, right from the cut, our tailors adjust the points that make all the difference. The result: an elegant, comfortable outfit that perfectly matches the figure, with very few alterations required.👉 The photos below are educational examples given by our tailors: they deliberately show visible defects on jackets.These defects are linked to certain morphological particularities (tummy, shoulders, nape of the neck, etc.), and illustrate the alterations that can be made.Important: these corrections are made before the garment is made up, not on the final garment.📸 Photo 1 :Prominent bellyStrong chest and stomach.➡️ Adjustment: widen the front + specific darts for ease and line.📸 photo 2 : Drooping shouldersThe jacket yawns at the shoulder point and creates oblique folds at the back.➡️ Adjustment: correct the shoulder slope + epaulets if necessary to restore balance.📸 photo 3: Back collar creasesHorizontal creases linked to a thick neck or protruding shoulders.➡️ Adjustment: subtly hollow out the back collar for a clean, natural fall.It's this invisible but essential work that distinguishes a simple tailored jacket from a genuine tailor's piece!🙏 Finally, a big thank you to all our customers: despite the heat and the vacations, many of you are coming in for your 2025 outfits... and even already booking for 2026.We're truly honored to work alongside you and share this passion with you.Happy vacations to you and see you in store very soon 🌞🕶️🏝️Geoffrey
